Hi and welcome. I'm from just west of Springfield IL. Springfield has several nice bike trails. Are there any good ones in Bloomington?

Welcome to Bikeforums. I am originally from Rockford but have lived in south coastal Delaware for 43 years. I drove home from Rockford yesterday and went around Bloomington, 39 S and 74 E. Central Illinois, some of the richest soil in the world/

Wow, several people from the great corn desert. I live in East Peoria. I lived in several small Illinois towns growing up, including Eureka, Benson, Tolona, and Washington.

There is the Constitution trail in Bloomington, but I actually live about 12 miles west of BloNo out on Route 9 so I usually just ride the country roads around the cornfields. There's actually some nice hilly and curvy roads around the Mackinaw river valley area. Any there's a winery in case you get thirsty

You’re in my riding backyard. Been riding those roads for 38 seasons.

I was just riding over there last week.
