took a couple days off to rest the knees . It helped a lot . I’m probably looking at riding five days a week , with a couple days off to give my knees a rest . Hopefully I can increase my daily average to make up the difference. We’ll see, if not I just have to reduce my goal each month.

I hope you heal fast and get back to 100% soon.

Didn't have a goal, but this has been my highest mileage month of the year thus far. I need to stop having such large gaps between rides (though those 50s were a bit tough to bounce back from).

June 1: 4.16
June 2: 17.97
June 5: 17.29
June 8: 50.43
June 12: 2.76
June 14: 50.24
June 17: 17.26
June total: 160.11

YTD: 471.8

I should be able to get up around 225mi for the month if I stay with it. I need to break my Brooks saddle in, though, so I'm sure the first couple of rides will only be 10-ish miles...

Goal: 600 miles for June

6/01 - 60
6/02 - 54

6/07 - 12 (all indoors at the gym)
6/08 - 30
6/09 - 30
6/11 - 54
6/20 - 32

MTD 282 miles

It’s been raining virtually every day since we’ve been in VA. Today I managed 32 very hilly miles with my new Bianchi Infinito CV, which is a total hoot! Short of a miracle I won’t hit 600, but it’s been an absolute wash weather wise........

My intentions were to split up my riding into two rides to see if that will be better on my knees.
rode my 3.5 this morning, Shot about 40 arrows on my home archery range , then chopped down an over grown evergreen. Then cleaned out the gutters .
As I write this , I just came in from shooting making two more rotations on my archery range .
it’s 89 outside and humid . The heat sucked out what energy I had .
I'm sure I burned more calories doing the yard work than I would have riding .

I am sadly stuck about 5 miles ahead of where I was at last update. I installed the Brooks B17 on my bike only to find that the seatpost clamp (or whatever the piece is called that clamps the seat rails down) has a stress crack in it. So I don't feel safe riding the bike until that's fixed, which should be later today. Hadn't had time to go get my new seat post.
