7/01 - 41
7/02 - 62
7/03 - 47
7/04 - 52
MTD 202 miles
YTD - north of 3500 (best estimate)
Out early to beat the heat. Hard ride out to the pier at Anna Marie island, and even harder on the way back, trying to keep up with an old speedster averaging 21 mph on a Madone. My skills are diminishing with age. Met the wife for a fantastic lunch in Sarasota....🍤🍓🥑🍒🧆🥂

Sitting at 62 of 400 for the month so far. Not too bad since I missed a couple of days while at the Indy GP

Goal for July: trade this for a bike shoe. After that, any number of miles will be good enough for me. I thought I’d be out until August, but it’s healing up nicely and feeling like a foot again, so there’s a chance I’ll be riding before then. We’ll see what the doctor says tomorrow. I’ve finally learned to drive with my left foot, though I wouldn’t want to do any long drives that way.

Having finally reached a monthly goal in June, I feel confident that I can do it again for July, so I'm setting my sights on 250 miles.
July 02 = 11.05 miles
July 03 = 13.64 miles
July 04 = 10.97 miles
July 05 = 12.80 miles
MTD = 48.46 miles of (hopefully) 250 miles.

Planned on a nice, long ride this morning, but the storms came very early and I was lucky to finish with 32 miles. It's dry again now, but I'm done playing cat and mouse and done for the day. Ordered a bunch of Bontrager front and rear lights for each of my bikes. The old ones no longer hold charge.

Yes, that's correct - 2 miles. Women at a roundabout this afternoon was supposed to stop, but didn't, and I ditched the Domane to avoid collision. She kept going, but I fell pretty hard and trashed the rear derailleur hanger and cable, and bar tape. Pretty sure I also cracked a rib, otherwise ok. I just dropped the bike off to have it looked at. Unlike the Giant, I don't think I damaged the CF frame, but if the Di2 rear derailleur itself is toast, the whole bike may be done for. Anyway, this will certainly impact mileage going forward. And at least the 2021s are out (looking for silver lining in all this).
