Boat-Bike Tours - Germany 2019 - info & tips?
My wife and I will be doing a Boat-Bike tour of the Danube starting in Passau, Germany next fall and were wondering if anyone on the forum has done that trip? Any tips, suggestions, or advice would be helpful. The specifics are: Danube - Iron Gates tour, starting in Passau, Germany. Thank you!

Ride the Levee top roads on the banks of the Danube , Passau to Vienna or Budapest,
and take the boat back up River again.
No, I came South from Prague thru Linz, then rode up the roadway to Passau ,
(lots of bike traffic was going the other way ) then turning west, into Bavaria
Solo.. 1991..

Bike touring webrarian
My wife (a non-bike tourist) and I took a one-week boat and bike excursion in 2017. It started and ended in Passau going all the way to Budapest before turning around. Everyone on the cruise rode bikes and we had routes to ride every day. It isn’t bike touring by my definition, but it was enjoyable and at a level my wife could enjoy, as well.
