Trek FX1 stem height

Hi. Just got a Trek FX1. I’d like to raise the handlebars a bit. Can’t find anything anywhere on how to do this. Anyone know how? Thank you.

You should be able to change out the stem for one with a bit of rise to it.

Is the stem positioned up as far as it can go on the steerer tube? Are there any spacers above the stem that can be swapped and then put below the stem in order to raise it a bit?

Looking at the pics of an FX 1, doesn't look like you can add spacers under the stem. So looks like the options are: 1.purchase a stem with more rise or 2.purchase handlebars with more rise or 3. buy a steerer tube extension such as: https://www.universalcycles.com/sear...eerer+extender
Almost forgot to mention--check your cables to be sure they have enough length for the increased rise.
