Schwinn Moab

Have a chance to make an offer on this Schwinn Moab. Anyone know whether it is decent bike or what it might be worth?

They were decent but in no way exceptional and that one is the bottom of the range. I had one that was two component levels above, in much nicer condition. I gave it to the bike charity. People give those away. If you have to pay, $20-$50 less the cost of tires if it needs them. Much better than any Walmart BSO.

It was a good bike in its day. I loved that time period of mountain biking.

It looks like it's been sitting a while, so full overhaul with new tires for sure and good luck finding parts for the fork. Like shelbyfv said, it was an okay bike but not worth much today.

When I went to look at Moab it had been cleaned up and was in good condition with decent components other than the tires. I made him an offer but he has not got back to me. As a MTB it has been superseded of course, but mostly I pick these up for local rail trail riders looking for a simple comfy ride.
