This new Tricycle still in development and production is due to start this year. It would be perfect for me and others.

Here is a video of the bike. Take in mind it is a prototype and they are still ironing out some problems like the steering. You will need to search this on Youtube triple tread as i haven't hit ten posts yet so i am not allowed posts links. Mods that is a real pain not being able to post links till i hit 10.

Welcome to Triple Tread® - TRIPLE TREAD Whether this turns out to be a boon or a bane depends upon how well it handles. The statement at the website that "standard trikes" tend to tip over in a turn is debatable. All depends upon the type of trike and mostly where the center of gravity on the trike. If it is high, as is true for many of the inexpensive trikes used by elderly riders (granny trike) that may be true but there are many trikes that are very stable even at higher speed turns. You just need to know the limits for your particular trike. In over 40,000 trike miles I only overturned once and that was at slow speeds in a parking lot while demonstrating the trike to a friend. Count me as being skeptical about this design as I'm sure it would be on the market long ago if it was an improvement over existing models. Homebuilders have been making similar trikes for a long time.
