I won't pretend to know anything about these, but seems like a good price for vintage Campagnolo.

I'd love to know a close match on that orange, it's exactly the color I wanted to paint the Gitane SC/TdF bare frame I have ... it's very similar to the super-deep orange metallic on L. Bobet's frames back in the late 60s/early 70s.

Tx and yes, you guys rock. The pic was skewed imo the frame is only a 1/2 to 1 in. bigger than my other biggest frames that all have a lot of seatpost and or stem. The standover is 36 in, and the headtube is 8 11/16 or 22 cm which is also only 1 in. more than the rest but looked like a lot more. All this will equate to less seatpost and stem and should be very close to correct I think.

So would I! I am having no luck so far. Fortunately the paint on mine is quite good.

I came across another orange thing of beauty. I would never want such a perfect old bicycle; I wouldn't want to ride it. That's why that Voyageur was so perfect . . .

^^^^ Pretty bike, but "pristine" includes dried-up brake hoods and handlebar tape? And a BROKEN pedal on the left side? And why no pics of the front wheel or saddle?

Not quite what you're asking for, but I repainted an Orange 1976 Centurion Semi Pro. It's a pearlescent orange that is very close to the late 70's Le Tour / Volare / Superior orange you are looking for. You can see the thread here: 1976 Semi Pro Restoration

It's a 50:50 mix of House of Kolor "Tangelo Pearl" and "Sunset Pearl". This is an almost perfect match to the Centurion orange (I tested on chips on the fork before stripping everything). The Schwinn orange looks to be a more on the yellow side, with bit less red. It's probably very close to the straight "Sunset Pearl" color (The "Tangelo Pearl" is a very intense, and more red-ish orange.)

Overpriced by about $100, and lacks the original wheels, but this is hands-down the best paint job design of all the Lemonds, IMO. I think $400 would be a fair price if the buyer could be talked down.

Looks like a 55 cm to me, rather than a 58.

Schwinn Passage 23" commuter/tourer refurbished - $200 (Brookline)

Up for sale is lugged steel, 1986 Schwinn Passage touring bike. Frame is made from Columbus Tenax steel with provisions for three water bottles. Components include SunTour derailleurs, Dia Compe shifters, canti-brakes and levers, 7-speed rear cluster and triple-chainring Sugino crankset, 700c wheels with Mavic rims, Panaracer Pasela 32mm tires, new brake and gear cables and new chain, Brooks B17 leather saddle, rear Jim Blackburn rack. Frame size is 23"/58cm seat tube (measured center to top), 22.5" top tube (center to center), 32.5" standover height (in old-school sizing, this should fit folks roughly 5'8" to 6'). Frame is quite scraped up, but no dents. Would make for an excellent under-the-radar commuter or strap on some panniers and take a tour. Mechanically this bike is in excellent condition, needs nothing, and is ready to roll.

Firm price is $200 cash; located in Brookline/Coolidge Corner. Can meet at the Coolidge Corner t-stop.

That Schwinn looks nice. What's the difference between a Passage and a Voyageur?

Mostly a cr-mo fork on the Voyageur, vs. Hi-Ten on the Passage. There are probably some slightly higher spec parts on the Voyageur, but they're pretty close in terms of geometry and general level of parts. They list a lb or two difference in weight, but include the Passage's factory equipped Blackburn style rack in it's weight.
