Cycling for Type 1 Diabetes

I just completed a bike ride on Amelia Island, Florida to raise money & awareness for Type 1 Diabetes. Although I don't have a connection to T1, this was my 5th ride for JDRF. In fact, I love this organization & these rides SO much that when the opportunity to be the Middle TN USA Cycling Coach came up, I jumped at it! I especially loved seeing young riders (age 13 to ride with a parent) with Type 1 gutting out 103 miles. Rock stars!

If you'd like more information about these rides or JDRF, let me know!

This year I will ride in my 5th New England Classic (Tour de Cure) to support the American Diabetes Association. Fabulous support and the ride includes both a 2 day and a 7 day thru Mass, Maine, NH and Vermont.
I would encourage anyone who wants to join the fight against Diabetes to consider this ride along with other day rides throughout the country sponsored by the ADA.

Toby, sorry for the late reply. I agree with you 100%. Thanks for all you do to turn Type One into Type None!

So SORRY to hear this. Do you do any rides to help fight Type 1? I can connect you to JDRF coaches/riders in your area if you're interested.
