It's the shop closest to me. I own 1 bike, bought it 25 years ago, do my own repairs, so wasn't much of a customer, but I'm still sad to see it go. It started as a Coöperative; I knew one of the founders. When that changed it became Coop instead (NM law reserves Coöperative and Coöp for actual coöperatives)
Giving away bikes is nice, but not if you go out of business.

Too bad. We need bike shops to be available and serving the entire bike community. Amanda had good intentions and contributed to the bike scene around campus as well as in the broader community.
