Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Is that a frame and fork or not? The website is unclear.

"FORK: Not included"

seems pretty clear to me.

Saw that and also this:
"N'Gauged double butted chromoly track frame and fork with chrome plated crown delivers a smooth and resilient ride"
I've had bad luck with Nashbar on vague things before. If there was a fork I might get this but I guess not.

I think it'd be a pretty sweet frame with one of scrod's cheap chrome forks.

It'd look classy as hell.

Agreed, but a track frame not really what I need but a frameset for $100 might change some priorities. I hope someone gets on this.

That's an awesome deal on a frame. I'd get it if I wasn't unemployed. HAH

A hundred bucks for a Madison frame? Yes, especially considering you can strip that yellow paint away and it's fully chromed underneath.

It would remove the yellow paint completely and do no harm to the chrome.

i am late to the party as usual but just for curiosity's sake...

is the chrome that's under the paint on a madison shiny? or is it rough-finished to hold the paint & would need to be polished out if someone wants to make it into an all-chrome frame?
