Did you get this pivot bolt/ i cant follow the 3-way trade convo to decipher "who's on first" but I DO have this bolt in my bag of donor Campy NR bits.
I could use a cheap but durable Shimano claw-type RD suitable for a juvenile 24" bike that will be poorly treated, it had a Shimano all-steel RD that got exploded by my friend's kid, who may have learned a lesson, but I doubt it.

I have a few claw-style RD all-steel. I regularly send members parts for free and had the perfect one for your situation, a Suntour Honor ("U") with regular-facing claw. But ... sent it to a newer member who was rebuilding a bike for his wife, IIRC. Since that's gone, I've got these five, two french, three Suntour. Don't ask me why the Suntour U (Honor) here has a reverse claw, I haven't been able to find anyone that could explain, but you should be able to toss another claw onto it. I'd prefer not to get rid of the Suntour V, want to use for an upcoming project. The Sachs/Sachs-Huret are OK, I'm guessing the best solution to your problem is the Suntour 7 in this case, if the Honor won't work? Let me know if either it the Honor or 7 will suit your needs and I'm happy to switch up. 7 is used. Honor is brand new.

Francofile, I think the "7" will be perfect, in fact a bit nicer that this kid deserves, but maybe he won't keep destroying... the Honor might be sturdier but I don't have any spare claws at this moment. I'll PM you and arrange the details.

You will have some trouble if you are using shimano shifters.

^Hah, It won't be MY trouble! but since you bring it up, what's the big diff if the (rapid fire trigger shifters) are coupled with a Suntour RD, is the RD lever angles (or whatever the engineering term) that much different that it won't index reasonably OK? My goal is to only get something that works/lasts until this kid moves on to his next size bike...I have a pretty good cheap Shimano RD that needs only 2 good plastic pulleys and a claw hanger to work but figured THOSE would be even tougher to find...

The cable pull is different. I've had trouble with just changing to different Suntour index models.

I need a cable fixing bolt for my Campy NR derailleur. Can anyone help me out? Let me know what you might need and we can work out a trade. I'm also happy to pay, or donate to a cause you care about in case my shallow parts bin doesn't have what you need.
Specifically, looking for item #124 in the attached diagram.
I just finished overhauling the derailleur and realized the Phillips-head screw the seller used as a replacement has a couple of stripped threads. Thankfully, the threads in the derailleur body are fine...

I have one of those 124s. Not in showroom condition but I checked and it threads into the NR body just fine. Are you able to get over to SF or will you be at the swap in Alameda on Sunday?

I need a quill stem with a short extension and a 26.0mm handlebar clamp. I have an Italmanubri stem to offer with a 110 or 120mm extension.
I also have a pair of barely used Kenda Small Block 8 CX tires. Take your pick.

I didn't leave a review, so I remain blissfully unaware of whether you think I'm a dip****. ;-)
But speaking of Amazon one-star reviews, my personal favorite reviews are the ones for Haribo sugar free gummy bears. It's a must-read.

I'm using those Origin8 stems on a couple of bikes. They're just rebranded Kalloy stems. Not fancy, but perfectly functional.

What I was getting at was that credible 1- and 2-star reviews might make me think twice about buying a product. But in this case it was like "It didn't fit my bike! Grr!" or "It took 3-5 days to ship! Grr!" or "Pour [sic] finish, grr!", so I'd feel pretty good buying that stem.

i've decided the 66-40 bars on my davidson are too deep and wide. i think i'm shrinking too, so the bike is getting a shorty cinelli stem as well.

If you don't find the Cinelli bars, I have a pair of 3ttt, 26.4 clamping area, 39 width, TdF model, you can have. Some scuffing from being inserted in stems and from brake lever bands. The logos are completely visible, also. Let me know via PM if you want them.

Before I resort to Ebay to pick up the last few odds and ends I need for a PX-10 project, I thought I'd see if anyone here can spare:
a) three chromed top-tube cable guides (preferably but not necessarily Simplex);
b) a Simplex combination cable guide/stop that clamps to the base of the down tube. (Or is it the base of the seat tube? I can't remember.) This is the one that's partly metal and partly black plastic that looks like bakelite but might be delrin, and
3. one of those Mafac brake hanger/stops that mounts on the seatpost binder bolt.
I have various trade goods. I was poking through my stash for the above parts yesterday and found that I seem to have quite a few 86 BCD Stronglight chainrings in a variety of sizes, if anyone happens to need one of those.

Jon, I'm pretty sure I have an extra MAFAC brake hanger. I'm working on a PX-10 build myself, and have purchased a couple sets of MAFAC Racers. I might have an extra Simplex brake cable guide as well. Not sure about the downtube-mounted cable guide. I'll check my stash this evening. We can discuss chainrings off-list. I have an 86BCD SR Apex I was thinking of putting out to pasture. Maybe I should rethink that...
