I've seen a few outrageously hopelessly priced things on ebay. I assume it's either a typo or a hopeless scam attempt. Given the seller's number of transactions and 100% feedback I'd say typo in this case.

eBayers will do that when they're temporarily out of stock but expect to get some more in soon. Raise the price so no one will buy it and that way they don't have to take down a constantly repeating ad and make a new one, Just lower the price to what you want to sell it for when it gets back in stock.

Classic example of price gouging...I can get an Avid rotor at my LBS for less than half that price.

But have you factored in travel expenses? The eBay one is free shipping, after all.

EDIT: Price gouging happens when customers don't have another option. I don't think that applies here.

I don’t fly a jet, so I don’t have to worry about getting a pilots license. Thank you for your contribution.

unisex brake pads? Are they going to have pink pads that are $20 more expensive and not as good but pink for the ladies. "BP-600F by Shemano because you are worth it, girl."

I mean yeah as one should. Marketing the same product with a different color towards a certain group of people and charging them more for it is stupid. Also the entire construct of gender and especially when it comes to inanimate objects is even more ridiculous. Everyone is so stuck on it like a skip on a bad record on a sound system nobody bought when new and now is way too old and worn out.

I don't log into youtube so I really rarely have a feed. Admittedly I do get some junk sometimes like a lot of it from absolute human garbage but I know what I enjoy watching and don't mind a quick search. My phone has the app so I guess it memorizes stuff there so a lot of Seinfeld, Forgotten Weapons, Simpons clips, Dubilners and late Luke Kelly specifically and Stephen Colbert Show.

I mean if you are watching Ben Shapiro yeah there is problems there. He looks like Eddie Munster but not in good way.
