Bilenky got served. It was a little harsh, but once you look at the Hetchins bikes compared to the Bilenky, the points are pretty valid.

I'd go for the Hetchins.

yeah the points were valid... but seriously. there's a difference between "i appreciate the sentiment, but this is how you could have done it better" and "okay, here is why what you just spent a lot of time on is a piece of ****"

luckily this is just a guy running a fan site and not the maker of Hetchins himself.

**** that. what about the word "tribute" do you and the guy that runs that site not understand? None of those critique points are valid because it's not supposed to be a Hetchins bike. It doesn't matter if you put the tribute side-by-side with a Hetchins and can point out all the differences; tribute's are not carbon copies of an original, tribute's show appreciation for something by emulating stylistic elements the subject is known for.

Bilenky repaired and repainted my '87 Fuso. They did a great job. Plus, they make these cool cargo bikes that look to be perfect for hauling kegs or pizza around.
