What bicycle brands do you see most where you ride?
When I'm out on rides around where I live...hands down, Specialized is the dominant brand I see. Seems like every other bike is a Allez, Venge, Tarmac, Roubaix. Yesterday, however, I was at a charity ride for cancer and the overwhelming majority of bikes there were Treks. Mostly Domanes and Madones, but I even saw a few Emundas sprinkled in. I wonder if bike purchases are regional at all. Most every LBS around here stocks Spesh along with another brand or two...Plus we got two big Trek Stores in West and South County.

Not sure there is a dominant brand but I can tell you that the smartest riders ride Specialized bikes.
Keep in mind that Specialized won the TdF this year and that not only proves their reliability but that they are the fastest bikes.
I am waiting for about 3-5 years into the future when Specialized comes out with an integrated motor into the BB with a more compact battery. Just looking for another 250w or so of supplemented power so I can keep up with CAT 1 bullies with FTP in the 350w range.

Specialized, Trek, and Fuji are most common.

No. Since the beginning of time, Specialized has created the best bikes ever conceived. I believe one day Specialized bikes will be fitted with artificial intelligence and morph riding position to accommodate apprehensions held deeply in the subconscious about fit not being perfect.

There will be nothing subtle when Specialized debuts their AI model they will call the 'IQ'. A thinking bike with active suspension that will replenish electrolytes, add watts, become amorphous to accommodate different positions during the course of the ride and even change saddle shape.
A new frontier. Not sure it will solve cancer but it has a shot if the human brain is reverse engineered as predicted.

Trek rules all in my neck of the woods, followed closely by Giant. Don't see a ton of Specialized, but they are out there. I do I see a LOT of Cervelos locally, but I think that's because there is a pretty good local dealer.

I stopped doing massive group rides, but it seemed to me that people went to whatever place was their favorite shop to get their bikes. We have a number to choose from here (and used to have a few more that consolidated their stores). We have 2 major Trek dealers (one of them used to have multiple locations), Spesh (though a few shops around stopped selling them in the past year or so), Cdale, Orbea, Scott, Giant. Those are probably the most common (Orbea...sorta kinda common but not as much as the others).

A melting pot in NYC but I do see a decent amount of Pinarellos running around as well as Fuji, Specialized, a lot of Cannondale, hardly any Treks, a lot of Cervelos, and a handful of Wiliers and Bianchis.

Lots of old, retired folks around here. There's a Trek dealer right on the bike trail so mostly Trek with a few Terratrikes thrown in. I don't shop there. Not my kinda shop so I patronize the Cannondale shop 2 blocks south of the trail.

Where I live and ride, it's SpeshulEd by a margin of 4-5 to 1. There has to be at least 10 dealers within a 50 mile radius of me. As opposed to 2 Trek, 2 C-dale, and 0 Giant.
But, the closest one to me is a Bianchi dealer.
