Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sram White

Any truth to the rumors that Sram will introduce a new groupset (White) soon? I heard that this group will be lighter than Red.

Lets get it right guys. The Gay Gruppo is NOT Purple. they call it "Wild Orchid".

To a real man it does look purpleish though. It's how you tell the poseurs.

On the flip side, SRAM yellow will have an extra small crank.

SRAM had better not go too far with the upgrading thing. They'll lose the retro market.

They already have 4 groups on the market, with a very small difference between them. I think they'll just upgrade and let tech trickle down.

Imo, they should offer their top group in customizable colors (as in where the red decals are on the RED group, can be whatever color you decide to pay for). Sounds silly, but they may be able to turn a profit off of that kind of product.

It would not surprise me if they do that. SRAM does that with the mountain components X0

real men wear pink. you out of all people should know that, given it's the secondary color of your kit
