Hybrid style ebikes
I have it narrowed down to:
$2,400 Ghost b1.8
$2,500 Trek Verve+ 2
$1,800 Motobecane Elite eSport
Thoughts?

If you live in a flat land area any of these would be good. If you need to climb hills regularly I think you'll prefer the extra torque of the Bosch Performance Cruise (65nm) motor on the Ghost over the Bosch Active line (40nm) on the Trek or the Shimano Steps E5000 (40nm) on the Motobecane.

I ride mostly flat areas, but there are some hills. That extra torque could come in handy.

Dewey has a cogent argument. For my money (not a tourer so take it with several grains of salt), the Motobecane e-Mulekick Express at 35 pounds and $2,000 is worth a look.

The verve+ 2 is heavy at 50 pounds. I wouldn't want to carry it up a flight of stairs, but its reasonable to put on my bike rack.
The emulekick is a lot of bike for $2k. The weight looks amazing. None are in stock.

Could be they're waiting for the first order, not uncommon at BD. Haven't kept up with the industry lately since my n+1 is pretty maxed out.

I went with the verve+ 2
I have 80 miles on it so far. No issues and it rides well without any assist.
The pedal assist is powerful enough for me to climb any hill on the trails in my area. I usually pedal out in eco mode and back in tour mode.
One factor that I considered is that IF I want a different bike/style in the future, I should be able to sell the Trek easier than the other brands.
I appreciate everyone's help and suggestions
