Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Got a flat this morning. Looks like I have three slits this size at different location on the rear tire. Thinking about moving to the front and putting the front tire on the rear. Thoughts?

I wouldn't put a damaged tire on the front.

Nice car. I used to lust after a German wagon, back when I cared what I drove.

They're playing some sports talk show on the TV. So much yelling. It's kind of annoying.

Given the odd shape of my feet, I pretty much have to shop locally.

Depends on the volume setting. Ask them to turn it down.

Far less grotesque, but I've been giving myself shots for a while and I have yet to figure out a technique. Sometimes I barely feel it; other times it hurts. Seems random.

I’d really like a Golf Alltrack, but can’t fit the dogs in the cargo area with the seats up so we need something a little longer.

I bought a GTI new in 1986. That was fun. Wife had a TDI, also fun, and the “make nice” money and buyback were great.
