I bought a Sean John branded shirt. Nice style, fabric but didn't notice it lacked a chest pocket. I went to put my reading glasses into the pocket and did a pretty good Foster Brooks impersonation.

Now it is something I look for. How difficult is it to add a pocket?

No surprise, but no high priced jerseys for me either. Just tons of t-shirts, most free from the bike club for helping, and other rides.

I don't own any cycling jerseys, not even one.

I buy them, and they last a long time for me. A few years ago, I bought a wool jersey from Oregon Cyclewear. Wool is still nice. It's expensive, but given how long it lasts, it ends up being a good value. Not only that, I don't need to wash it after every wearing, and it will last longer if I don't. As of today, their prices range from $60 to $79. Some have logos, and some don't. I like logo-less clothing better.

I don't wear jerseys often. I wear one when I'm taking a long ride on a day when I won't be doing anything else. If I'm going to be off the bike also, I prefer a polo shirt.

I rarely buy jerseys.

While shorts pill and turn transparent, jerseys seem to keep on going when not crashed.

I have some from 1997 I wore until I grew too large by 2010 and bought bigger jerseys.

I shrunk 60 pounds in 2014, realized I was never a medium, figured out what fit, and stocked up. 6 days of winter jerseys, 6 days of summer jerseys. I picked up a few aero jerseys for fast days and was happy.

People laugh at other people for all sorts of reasons - the hat they wear or their favorite sports team or the Church they go to or for standing up for what's right.

Most of the time it shouldn't influence what we do.

Got it an an IT conference years ago. They got the color right but the garment wrong. Still, I enjoy wearing it from time to time.

Yeah I got the fact you got them free, just saying I don’t buy, or wear them. You did use quite a few words to make a single point. My wife does that.

I have some of these shirts. 3 for $24. They are even cooler than my jerseys. I feel like I have a/c blowing on me when I wear one. No pockets, but the shirt is long enough to be good for cycling.

A year+ ago, I saw some nice yellow and black jerseys from a vendor on ebay, made in the US by Mt Borah (IIRC). They looked very sharp,and the price was right, and reviews for this manufacturer were excellent, so i ordered one. The thing is made if this incredibly cool, comfortable material, and fit me like it was tailored, so I ordered another, and those 2 jerseys became my daily regulars.
A few months later, I ordered a 3rd one, just cuz.
Then, a while after that, I saw that they'd dropped the price on the last two ( to something like $9 each, delivered), so I snagged those 2 as well, and just left them in the plastic and put them away for the zombie apocalypse.
I have a stash of older jerseys, some are generic single-color units from pricepoint (I would've gotten more if i'd known they'd hold up so well), a couple were gifts from friend's riding clubs, and some were Nalini pro team jerseys I ordered from an operation in the UK, years ago.
I have 3 Fox mtn bike jerseys, that I've had for years and are pretty nice, but I almost never wear them. The single zippered pocket ain't big enough for all my luggage !

I wear shorts year round, yes, even here in Utah! I wear shorts at work more often than not, but after mid November till Mid March I do wear long pants at work. But at home I even shovel snow in shorts, and use the snow plow blade on my riding mower in the winter. May I never be so "mature" I can't wear shorts. I'm 56, father of a bride, and 4 grandchildren... Besides, I only have to grow older, I don't HAVE to grow up...
