Odd bottom bracket tool?
I bought a nice '78 Trek TX700 frame. I want to build a touring bike with it. I wanted to unscrew the sealed bottom bracket bearing but my good old BBT22 park tool is just a skosh too big. Here's a pic with the tool sitting stop the bearings. I've looked at the other park BB tools and nothing looks even close. WTH. My tool has fit everything up till now. I know someone here knows what's up and what to look for to remedy my issue.

I've had Shimano BBs that had splines a bit smaller than others, but could remove them by lightly tapping the tool into the splines with a hammer.

After doing a little more research I realized it had 18 splines instead of 20. It's a Phil Wood bb bearing. I should have looked a little harder before crying for help. 😒
