Fat chance yo eddy frame and original fork - $600 (Peabody)

1991 frame size medium
With an original 1991 yo eddy fork powder coated chrome.

Condition of paint is not great. I think I would repaint if I kept it.

Hard to find a frame and original fork at any price but I am taking a big loss on this one

Big & Tall Cannondale ST1000 6'-5"+ others - $500 (Boston)

For sale is my 80s Cannondale Super Touring ST1000 perfect for a clydesdale or other tall cyclist, it would make a great tourer, commuter, or general all-rounder. I'm 6'-7" and it fits pretty well. You should be ~6'-5" and up.

The frame is Cannondale's largest 27" size and has a 67cm seat tube with a ~61.5cm top tube, measured center to center. It has an aluminum frame and steel fork, made in the USA.

It's in excellent barely used condition with new tires (pasela), tubes, saddle (specialized), bars (nitto) and bar tape (fizik). It's well tuned and ready to go. It has a triple up front and 6 speeds indexed in the back. It has cantilever brakes and is running 32c equivalent tires. Hubs, bottom bracket, headset are all sealed and in excellent condition.

This was Cannondale's top of the line touring bike. I have the original fenders and both racks for it but the rear rack is bent. The bike has bosses for three water bottle cages for long distance touring.

Come check it out, you won't be disappointed. The stiff frame and shimano biopace (ovoid) chainrings really make it accelerate easily; with its touring geometry you could practically fall asleep and still ride in a straight line. There are a few paint chips and one longer scrape on the top tube, but they'd be easy to touch-up if you like.

Cash or paypal/venmo. I can meet in Dorchester or bring the bike downtown.
Email or text Evan 980-233-113zero.

I have other tall bikes available if interested (search for tall or email/text me):
28"/71cm Eddy Merckx racing bike, $1300
27"/67cm Cannondale ST400, aluminum, excellent for general riding, commuting $350
67cm - rebadged steel Raleigh Fixed Gear conversion $250
67cm - freshly powdercoated steel Road Frame & Fork $200

It's in excellent barely used condition with new tires (pasela), tubes, and saddle (charge spoon). It's tuned and ready to go. It has a double crankset up front and 6 speeds indexed in the back. It is running 32c equivalent tires.

It was designed as a touring bike and has eyelets for fenders and racks and bosses for three water bottle cages for long distance touring. The frame is identical to the highest end touring Cannondale of this era, except for rear spacing and cantilever brake bosses - they only changed the components.

If you're tall, you know how hard it is to find frames that fit. Come check it out, you won't be disappointed. There are a few paint chips and a couple of larger rubs, but it shows very well and most could be easily touched-up if you like.

Cash or paypal/venmo. I can meet in Dorchester or bring the bike downtown.

2010 Surly Long Haul Trucker, 52cm frame, $500 OBO @ Portland OR area, CraigsList.
Great Condition - under 300mi (estimate)

Over the years our Long Haul Trucker touring frame and complete bike has developed a devoted following. People understand and appreciate the LHT’s dependability and everyday riding comfort, whether they’re cruising to the store or lost in the middle of nowhere.

The Long Haul Trucker was designed in all aspects to go the distance in relative comfort, and to be able to haul a bunch of stuff. Its low bottom bracket and long chainstays provide comfort and stability. We gave it ample tire clearance for larger tires (larger tires soak up a lot of road static) with room for fenders. The frame’s tubing is thicker-walled and larger-diameter than standard road and sport-touring frames, and this pre-tunes it for the weight of cargo. And it’s got all the braze-ons, from rack mounts to water bottle cage bosses to spare spoke holders.

Read more about the model year here : https://surlybikes.com/bikes/legacy/...l_trucker_2007

This model is selling with all components in the image, but excluding - phone holder, lights, pedals. Standard Pedals are included.

I'd grab this in a heartbeat if it didn't have the funky front wheel.

As I'm sure you're aware, that funky front wheel setup got many a short rider on great bikes and down the road far better than many of the other options.

Terry and others did a lot of these with great success.

That being said, this one would not be so well priced if not for that.

I really wish I had the cash right now, because if I did I would be keeping this to myself until I bought it. I absolutely love the three-arm cranks. "Mint condition" is a bit of a stretch though.

1979 Raleigh Carlton Competition GS $175

"Mint condition vintage Raleigh Carlton Competition GS. Hate to sell. Cleaning out the garage selling multiple bikes, need the room. Newer Michelin tires."

Despite my pledge of 'no more', if this was near me I'd run out and get it. A very good price at $85 obo, but the ad has been up for awhile so there may be a problem, or it sold and the ad never got deleted, or it may be just that this one is lurking in rural N.H.

...golly, gosh, gee whiz. That one looks like it's in better condition than the one I just restored. Which I thought was in miraculous condition. that one is from very near the end of production on those.

They pop up often and some of the times the seller asks for a deposit before bringing them to SoCal. The bikes are often high end and priced low.
Has anyone bought a bike from one from these adds, What's the old saying, "if it seems too good to be........"?
Not trying to disparage this seller because it may be legit, but wondering.
Best, Ben

Best, Ben
probably bikes stolen from places like SF and then hauled out to Stockton to be thrown in a shed for a few years, then listed out when they need more meth. you can see the storage unit right behind the bike! its probably full to the rafters.

- or its just a perfectly cool dude who has an old bike he needs to move.

1990 Kona Cinder Cone, 17in frame, nearly-new condition, $300 (CDN) @ Vancouver BC, Canada.

Ad is also over on PinkBike.

Looks in pretty great condition, for the vintage.

1990 17" Kona Cindercone virtually never ridden, Unbelievable shape, new tires as the old ones succumbed to rot and seat as the old one disappeared.

Complete 21 speed Suntour XCD with rear SE Pedterson self energizing brakes, Ukai UMT-17 rims
