Monster frame for those long of inseam!

This is a Paris-Sport frame and fork and it is BIG. It's about 67-68 cm in the seat tube and about 58 in the top tube.
It's had multiple terrible repaints but the steerer shows what a nice blue this had at one time.
Rear is spaced at 126 and a serial number of 77102 is stamped upside down the right dropout. As it sits right now, it weighs in at about 8 pounds.
Neat notched headset. Inside of steerer is about 22mm and the seatpost hole measures about 25.8 or 26mm.

If you need a frame this big, PM me and we'll work something out. I typically ride about a 60 but will consider almost anything in trade (parts, tools, memorabilia, etc)

I got this dinky frame for my wife, hoping she'd ride it. However, she's very content with her modern upright Cannondale thing. Double butted Vitus 181 tubing in a 50cm size. American made Houdaille - I don't know this for a fact but someone once told me that Trek made their frames. (Take that with a grain of salt though.) Anyhow, time to move it along. I don't really need anything at the moment, but if you've got something interesting in a 59-61cm frame size drop me a line. I guess I'd be interested in parts. I'm also partial to front bags, wool jerseys, etc.

Dang, that's a beautiful bike. Is that a long cage Suntour on the back? I think I picked up enough 50cm bikes last summer for my wife.

I think for you and me your sig should read, "Life is too short to ride short bikes." I pick up all the vintage ~60cm bikes I am allowed...

Yeah, it's a 5000 and is currently indexing six gears in back. No school today for MLK so I'm actually tearing this one done this morning, cleaning and archiving the parts, and either trading off the frame or hanging it in the rafters. It's in the way!

Want to change one of the earlier Eddy Merckx Professional frames with signature on seat stay (top tube 56/57cm) against a Ciöcc (1975-1982) frame with a top tube of 53/54 cm.

That's a lovely Merckx, and very desirable. You might be better off cleaning it up & selling it on eBay (best market for it, trust me) and using the funds to buy the Ciocc of your choice.

Might want to check the right rear dropout first, though...looks like it's been spread out. Should be the same size axle slot from the front to the back.

A few frames i'd like to pass on to the next person

Let me know if there is any interest or if you'd like more pictures/info --- non of these have any dents.

1. Humber 56cm ... heavy but nice patina
2. Motobecane 63/64cm -- pretty light use, paint in 8/10 condition
3. Gitane 46/47cm -- nice frame and has matching rack that comes with it. poor paint job by previous owner.
4. Bridgestone 56cm paint is 6/10

I have a 16.5" Trek mountain bike, I am looking for either a road or mountain bike in the 17" to 18" range or a road frame in 54/56cm range. The key feature would be horizontal / semi-horizontal dropouts.

This Trek has a 73 mm bb shell, takes a 27.2 mm seat post and a fork with a 1" steerer tube. None of which comes with the frame.

I am also willing to trade for 1 1/8th headset of decent quality and condition. Open to vintage mountain bike components or almost anything Campagnolo.

You mean what size rider does it take? or what size wheel?

The frame is 46/47cm center to center.. are you looking for a stand over height?

I will check the wheel size when i get home... i've never built it up.

I put some 700c wheels "on it" (the rear drop out distance is 120mm) and they have heaps of space, so I think this frame could take a either a 700c or 27'' wheel set... see picts

Looking to possibly trade my 58cm titanium DBR Prevail TT for a 55-56 ti bike of similar quality. I have been told that this was made in the Merlin shop, but I am not nearly as knowledgeable as you folks so please correct me if I am wrong. I love the ride of this bike, I even rode it from Chapel Hill to Wilmington this fall . However I'd like to get a bike that fits me a bit better. The previous owner thought it was smart to put loctite in the water bottle bosses.

Have: 58cm FUJI Deluxe II. It's GORGEOUS. I just bought it. I normally ride 55-56cm, but I had to buy it as it rides so nicely and is just an awesome bike. I'm willing to ride a frame that's too big but thought I'd put a feeler out here.

I want a 55-56cm frameset. Japanese steel is strongly preferred. Bridgestone, fuji, panasonic, miyata, univega, nishiki, centurion, whatever.

email if you have anything to trade: hey.tchap@me.com or PM me here!

2002 Lemond Zurich handmade in USA Reynolds 853 Steel (woot!) with very scratched up paint job - quite a bit worse than the photo shows - but no dents or significant damage to frame or original carbon fork. Measured C to C: Seat tube 55, top tube a rather long 56.5 Excellent frame, rides great, exotic tube set shapes, but just a couple inches too small for me.

What I'm looking to trade: frame, fork, seat post, headset BB and stem.

What I'd like to get: a much bigger (62-ish) frameset of similar lightness; 853 would be perfect, SL, Ishiwata 21, Tange 1 or something along those lines. Cosmetically challenged is A-OK, since I'm looking for another refinishing project.
