Photos of YOUR bicycle near WATER

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Because you didn't specify in what form the water had to be, here's one atop Mt Wilson, CA.

And then there's this one along the Pacific coast, on the property of the first homestead in Malibu (Adamson House), now a museum.

Same spot, different view.

Ranch property of the Gillette family. Yes, that Gillette.

Fascinating place. I stumbled across references to it while trying to find the history on the dam for Century Lake and then why the railroads jogged inland around Malibu. My wife being an interior architect, I took her the following weekend.

And now you have me looking into a visit to the Gillette Ranch.

edit: Go figure. I HAVE been to that ranch... for the Calabasas Haunted Hayride. Still gotta go during the day some time.

I've taken visiting family to the Adamson house. It's a must see along the coast. The Gillette Ranch grounds are open for strolling, but the house itself is only open for events.

I apologise in advance for the horrible cell phone picture. In hindsight I should have taken a better camera

End of Front St, Beaufort NC looking over Taylor's Creek/Atlantic Ocean. Maiden voyage of my new bike, the Lucy II.
