Terrible road cycling "fashion".
Here's my list of terrible road cycling fashion that should die a painful death:
1. Tall socks < ankle socks, or no show socks are way more comfier, sometimes I don't even wear socks!
2. 100% brand sunglasses, I don't care who's the biggest sponsor behind them, they're still fugly. The new Oakleys are fugly too.
3. Pretentious rapha people or every brand that tries to be trendy over instagram.
Let's hear yours.

Meh. 
It's a light/fun topic. Fashion isn't about comfort, and vise versa. I like shorter than long socks, but I don't mind ankle socks either.
I look quite fredly with my mismatched, hi-vis attire. :shrug: Whatever.

Really dont have any.
I ride roads with people from 12 to 70.
athletic shorts are worn. Mtb shorts are worn. Kits are worn. Jerseys are worn. Cotton tshirts are worn. Cycling shorts are worn.
heck, just last night for shoes there were road shoes, mtb shoes, running shoes, and keene sandals.
They all wear what they wear out of comfort and availability.
i did question the kid wearing a hoodie when its 75, but its what he wanted so whatever.

I couldn't care less what other people are wearing with one exception -- I never want to see the cycling version of plumber's crack (is there a term for this?). On my commute the other day, I passed a big powerful sprinter-type wearing a too-short t-shirt and shorts just so I wouldn't have to look at him, but later he caught up on the downhill. I had to stand up and mash to get next to him and inform him that his shirt was too short, to which he good-naturedly exclaimed "oh ****", tried futilely to pull his shirt down and shorts up, and to my relief finally peeled off in a different direction at the next light.

The black tights black jacket Sprockets look of winter is both sad and ridiculous, but I think the most terrible fashion in cycling kit is that Castelli stuff with the sort of underlying red cast to it. On jackets and jerseys it's questionable, but on shorts and tights it's too fetishistic. The really satiny/glossy stuff is also somewhat inappropriate, I think, but I got some as 'official' kit of a tour group, and I have to admit it feels great. Bold, technical sort of graphics prevent it from being too sexy.

I'm not into Rapha, Assos, trendy stuff like that. Paying big bucks for "top of the line" road apparel is the epitome of fredliness IMO

-Jerseys that are so big they hang down past the butt when the pockets are full.
-Any non fitted kit items. Don't all have to wear skinsuits but everything should fit to the body, even for bigger people.
-Bib shorts that go all the way to the knee.
debated whether to throw this last one in, since I'm a huge violator, but sleeveless Jerseys. I just can't stand the farmer's tan on my arms. Legs, that's fine, but on the arms it just looks hideous!
