Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What about red & silver.

Or is that even worse than red alone?

Yes, and you'd better believe the shop owner was pissed when I decided not to get the floor model.

I like the red, my wifes red 1992 Specialized still looks pretty nice, my blue one looks old and dated. Red is eternal.

By far, black and white are tops. They go with everything. My black Giant is all black and white, but with red tires and it looks good.

My next bike will be this color with a very fine metal flake and some subdued yellow accents.

Why isn't BRG (British Racing Green) a more popular stock color? I'd buy it (and that's all that matters).

red must be the most over used colour this year. therefore red is ugly this year.

My favorite color on steel frames is all silver with fizik metallic silver bar tape and silver parts. I don't know what it is about it, but it's just sexy.

Titanium should be super polished or brushed.

nice target bike:

imo problem with red is that there are so many shades. its imposible to match red tape with hoods, tires, frame paint ect. unlike grey or silver where different shades/tones will match very nicely.

red looks orange
yellow looks like lance
white goes fast like a nascar
blue is a boyish superman wet dream
black is never stealthy and almost never done properly
orange, lime green, other bright colours are for fixie hipsters
