I'm a little jealous. I do work from home a couple of days a week, and if I have a call where I need silence, I go into the garage. If the call is of less importance, I noodle around with components.

We have a little sun room in the front of the house- with French doors. The desk and chair were my grandfather's; the desk is from an old country library from around the turn of the century and the chair is probably from the 50s- it was the chair at his desk at his office. The monitor was ultra badass in 2004 (along with the computer with a whole 1G of RAM!!!). Now it's tiny, but works well for when I need a 2nd monitor when I do work at home.

Haha. The Colnago is only in here for some adjustments. Normally it is on the bike rack in the garage with the rest of the fleet. The TREK is a permanent fixture as it is my first restoration and so pretty to look at. It also serves as a deterrent to the dog jumping up on the chair as she is afraid it will fall on her (she's a lab, what do you expect?). Humans have no problem sitting there comfortably.

I've worked from home since 2004 - one of the advantages of the insurance field claims side of things. Robbie can probably attest to that too. This has been my office/man cave for the past 15 yrs. At times I've had bikes on the wall including two of Drillium Dude's while he was on his last deployment in Diego Garcia. Now there's just one bike on the trainer and the rest reside on the wall downstairs. The stereo cabinet holds my early 90's Kenwood system..

I have 6 built (one on top of my desk behind monitors) and one frame in my office. Been remote since 2010 and so I work from home. Its a bit of a stress reliever to look back and take my mind off work, and at times it turns into a ride at some point during the day...….even more stress relief.
I video conference often, so everyone in and out of my company knows I am bike nut as they see them behind me, but does spark conversation.

I'll show you mine, but I need to clear some stuff out first. We bought a 1370 sq. ft. house 38 years ago and resisted the urge (and expenditure) of trading up when the boys came along. For a long time, my home office was a hall closet, but I quickly commandeered our elder son's room when he moved out. (Our younger son's room is now the daycare center for our younger grandson a couple of days per week.) Since I telecommute a few days per week now, I really need the work space. Unfortunately, no room for bikes, which hang from the garage rafters in my "other" man cave.

I found that desk many years ago abandoned in the dirt basement of a friend's rental house: It's oak with a leather top and really deep drawers. The filing cabinet I found in the back storage of a previous employer, and then stripped and refinished.
Here's another angle for cycling content:
My MIL was an elementary school librarian and snagged a couple of those card files when her school upgraded.

Still learning
It's tax season, why would I want to show my office now? Also, just took over as fiduciary for mom and dad, when low and behold they are quite behind on tax returns, fortunately all paid up though, so I don't have to visit them in a federal facility in upstate NY, lol.
