I don't wear a helmet. I am looking for a kickstand, but finding one that'll work on my bike is proving difficult.
Not sure the point of this thread when there are other kickstand and helmet threads, but if it's to see the pattern in their use together, then; kickstand yes, helmet no.

Kickstands and helmets
and clickety clip-ins
Bright blinking bike lights and warm woolen mittens
Team-colored jerseys and Crane bells that ring
These are a few of my fav'rite bike things...
When the dog bites
when the bee stings
when I'm feeling fat
I just remember my favor'rite bike things
and then I don't feel so bad
(apologies to Richard Hart...and everyone else)

I only have one bike with a kickstand, a 1972 Raleigh Superbe I use as a city bike. But I do wear a helmet when I ride it.

I ride bicycles on road and mtn.biking. I used to also ride motorcyles-on and off-road. Off road-on a bicycle as well as a motorcycle, I have heard the helmet hit the ground, and was very happy it was the helmet instead of my head. The only thing that had a kickstand was the road motorcycle. Kickstands don't belong off-road--dangerous if a jar might cause them to come down. My road bicycle doesn't have a kickstand, never felt the need. ALWAYS a helmet.

One bike has a kickstand but I always wear a helmet even on the bike path since it has a mirror to let me see the rude bikers zooming by at minimum distance. Some tourists find kickstands very useful when unpacking camping gear etc from panniers.

Yes, and the reason I just ordered a rear model to replace the ubiquitous center model.

I've never added a kickstand to a bike, but if one came on it, I've left it.
Helmet most of the time.
