"Run over by a car"

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah someone posted about this a while back. There were additional photos. If I remember correctly the feeder f*ed up royally. He tried to hang on to the guy which caused him to go under the wheels.

A few inches the other way and he could've likely died on the road. Still looks like he'll be miserable for quite some time. Ugh.

This is why you don't see too many Asian pro cyclist. They're too busy trying to fix their support cars while they ride.

I like the five pic series so you can see that it missed his head and he was ok.

I've had both Japanese and American cars. The Japanese cars are simply better built.

Hate VW's. The whole commissioned by Hitler thing is a real turn off. Originally designed by Ferdenand Porshe though, that almost makes up for it. I'll keep my Jeep. Anybody know if that guy's alright?

It's a second-generation Jetta, which is still being made in China. The US just got the 5th gen.

The A2 Jetta went on to become one of the first Volkswagen models produced in China by Volkswagen's second joint venture partner First Auto Works in 1991-1997.

Well the top of the photo says "Stage 6 - July 20, 2006" so I am guessing on July 20th.

You shouldn't make random guesses like that on a public forum, people might get mislead

while this is funny, i've seen some Asian's at tri's this year tear up the bike leg, i wish there were more Asian cyclists. i don't know if it's because of the normally small frame, or what, but they sure can bike when they want to...
