1. pins on all corners, one at the forward edge of the number and one in the middle.
2. run the safety pins through like a straight pin - through the number, across and into the fabric, across and out of the fabric, across and out of the number.
* ... someone said crumple the number up first but I don't get that ... maybe it won't flap as much if it has creases all over.
That was a really good thread - hope it keeps going.
