Gommitalia Tires?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Gommitalia Tires?

I need to buy new tires. I have heard good reviews about Gommitalia, particularly Calypso K tires. Do any of you have any experience with these tires? Your help would be appreciated!

I use the Gommitalia Targa Clinchers. I love these tires. Smooth, great traction. Decent TPI count. These are my good weather tires.

My bad weather/early season tires are Continental 4 season gatorskins. When switching wheels to the Gommitalia, my speed jumps at least 3khm.

I buy them here.

yea, yea i know, other variables,

but pretty much same rims (OP ceramics), pretty much same hubs (D/A and Ultegra), same spokes, different tires.

The speed increase is noticable. And I base it on the rolling resistance of the tires.
