Giant Anyroad Hybrid Conversion
Thought I would share some pictures of my converted Giant Anyroad. When I bought my anyroad it was my only bike, but I have since bought a Fatbike and an aluminum Endurance Road bike. So I wanted to make the anyroad my rail trail and bad weather bike. I did some research and discovered the Jones Loop H-Bar. It seemed perfect for what I wanted this bike to become. I just got it back from my LBS and only had time for a short 30 minute road ride on it today, but I can tell I am going to love it! It is very comfortable and fun to ride. I think I will ride this more than I anticipated.
The anyroad came stock with 11 speed 105 components and mechanical disc brakes. It now has shimano trigger shifters that are made to work with 11 speed road components (so I could use my 105 derailleurs) and SLX Hydraulic Disc brakes. The brakes are a HUGE upgrade!

I love it!
I was actually thinking about a toughroad with the same bars, grips, and pedals.
I have the same grips 6.75" ESI extra chunky , on my bike with surly open bars.
They are really comfy and have a nice feel to them.
I've been waiting for MKS to offer the lambda pedals in black , I'm going to get a set.
Are those the stock tires?
Well , get out and ride some more , I would love to hear more.
Very cool!

Hi Mick!
The tires are not stock. They are Maxxis Refuse 40mm tires. They are great!
I actually just ordered a pair of the black lambda pedals off eBay. They were a little pricey but I put them on my road bike as it's flat black.
The tough road with the Jones bar would be a great bike!
I will post another update once I get more time on it.

That looks awesome, like a natural fit.
Is your Jones bar the 710mm or 660mm version?

Sweet looking bike. Looks like you will get a ton of comfortable miles from it.

These bars on my short list for my bike too. Man, seeing them here sure is making me want them on the top of my list!

I have been thinking about throwing a set of these bars on my Specialized Sirrus. I was also looking at trekking bars, but I like the look of the Jones.
