Bike Friday pics -- need ideas!

I am buying a Pocket Rocket frameset, and I'd like to see some pictures and hear your pros and cons of various builds with the Bike Fridays. My initial thoughts are a mix of 9 speed Shimano components, Velocity Fusion rims with DA hubs, and whatever else falls out of my parts bin.

I travel quite a bit; I built a Ritchey Breakaway style bike last year that I take to Spain regularly but I'd like to have a folder for shorter trips. Can you buy the trailer/case for the BFs separately?

Thanks!

Cool! I didn't realize it's just a standard Samsonite suitcase; I see secondhand possibilities in my future...

I really like their trailer idea.

I have never bought a case from Bike Friday... I just buy a regular suitcase that has the dimensions I need.

My Pocket Rocket is set up with 8-speed/triple using barcons.

Not sure if it will help any...But here is my online photo album..there are a few pics of my PR.

I have a Full Rival setup 10speed with Shimano Capreo 9speed rear with a JTEK shiftmate adapter on a Pocket Rocket.

Works great. You can get the trailer kit (just the kit) as a refurb on ebay for less. I then drilled the holes myself in the Samsonite (I already had it when I used it with my Xootr Swift).

I have since upgraded with titanium seatpost and custom BF stem. It's a great ride.

my Bike Friday Crusoe

My Crusoe is now famous due to being posted here:

Granted, not PR Pro but built with a great set of parts including Capreo cassette. I am loving this bike for day to day and have yet to travel with it.

Thank you all for the pictures and links! I'll try to post some pictures, both before and after, as I get the frame and start putting parts together.

love my pocket rocket, but i would recommend making sure you get a model where the seat tube folds down as opposed to having to take the whole thing off, and i think there is a limited advantage to investing in higher end shifters, probably due to the long cables and the inevitable "adjustments" made when folding and traveling. eg. i upgraded to the ultegra brifters but i think i should have just stayed with the Tiagra that came on the bike. the performance isn't really much better IMO.
i also like the capreo hub and being able to have a normal size crankset etc.
