These along with the 7 speed Deore XT thhumbshifters are some of the best shifters ever.

They are Suntour Mountech's, I just finished building up my 1985 Rockhopper that has them, I ditched the RD but keep the shifters, I like em.

I have these on my '83 Stumpy and they shift the 2x5 drivetrain beautifully. The crankset isn't original, but the Mountech derailleurs are. Say what you want about Mountech RD's, but if you keep it clean, it shifts like a dream. Hey, that rhymes...
