Frame, fork, headset, and brakes is what's for sale.
The frame and fork are chrome and in good overall condition. No chips, dents, or bubbling.
There is some surface rust at corners and joints, I never bothered to remove, but it isn't too tough.
There are 2 water bottle spots on the top of the downtube, a spot on the seat tube, and it fits up to 2.35" tires. Rear brake is on the chainstay.
There are rear brazeons for a rack and a pump peg on the back of the seat tube.
I took pics of what I mean with regards to rust in joints. It's totally surface and could be buffed out.
Pics are of overall bike as it was easier, but full bike isn't for sale at this price.
With 2.35" tires, the standover is 33.5".
PayPal with $80 plus shipping net to me. If you want to estimate shipping, my zip is 50266. I'm guessing itll be $25-35 depending on location.

Sweet bike at a great price. Looks like a 1986 or 1987 or thereabouts.
These bikes really were well-appointed with braze-ons. Rack mounts, pump peg, etc... The less common Suntour parts (XC Sport Roller Cams and XCII bear trap pedals) are icing on the cake. Way too big for me but I would jump on it otherwise.

nice, and nice conversion. Today i went down a hill.. just like any other hill.. on my chrome mongoose mtb very similar to your ross. and friggin dropped the chain and exploded the RD all over the place.. bending my hanger of course... and looks like bent the axle as well. not sure what happened but there was shrapnel involved.
wtf.
maybe ill go single speed. I was on the way to a meeting so just put it away and took my road bike.
