Just perusing BF in between jobs. Kind of a relaxed atmosphere around town today, tomorrow is our town's big yearly celebration, and the guys smoking ribs next door are making me hungry.

Nobody should be working at least not how we typically work in the world. Shorter and fewer work days, more pay and less stress. We need more time for riding and relaxing and living life.

I Should be working now, but I work in a factory & I'm waiting for product to come down the line...In 7 weeks! Until then, every post here, just like every other post I do on BF will be from the crapper on the second floor.
Don't be mad at me. "Get LOST!" & "Don't get found" and "Friday is a good day for you all to take vacation" Were all direct orders from my supervisor at this mornings production meeting.

I should be out working on a rental property that I need to get cleaned up / fixed up and re-rented, but double hernia surgery Monday has me home and off the bike. Dr's instructions are to lift no more than 10 lbs for 6 weeks - It's gonna be a long 6 weeks I'm black & blue in places I don't want to be B&B !!

Working no but packing to move yes.
Which is an absolute P.I.T.A..
I am moving inbetween a small town and the countryside.
Lots of close by destinations to bike to.

…Posting has become an avocation for me. Since my job requires writing formal reports, with legal implications, I consider myself a “wordsmith,” and beside the exchange of information and ideas, I enjoy the mechanics of writing, such as grammar, composition , style, etc. for that addtional mental stimulation.
A radio commentator, Dennis Prager, once suggested that one should take a vacation everyday; not to physically “get away,” but do something different during the day, and that’s posting for me.
