Cycling bib shorts size, photo attached

Hi guys, I usually get medium but thinking I we always a small. I got a size small it's pretty form fitting. Everything snug but the chamois seems wider than my previous and it's pushing in my inner thigh, no pinching or cutting though. Just wondering will this go away after breaking in? The mediums I had never had this appearance. I'm not all about the thigh gap...
Mind the gap...sorry guys

Ha.....so I wouldn't necessarily worry about how it looks, but how it feels. Do they feel comfortable, have you ridden in them yet?

yes they are pretty comfortable, just wondering if it takes time to break in.

Reasonably quality cycling shorts don't break in. They either fit or they don't.

Breaking in = stretch.

If cycling shorts stretch and fit looser after the first few wearings and washings then they are not very good shorts.

If they are uncomfortable then return them and get ones that fit better.

Bicycle shorts should fit snugly, thus the use of form fitting fabrics so predominantly like Lycra. Essentially the cycling equivalent of a swimmer's Speedo (a brand). If the shorts do not fit snugly they will chafe. They should not be stretched to the limit such that they have no more give. If you can grip the opening and they have plenty of give left but are snug and the fabric does not bag /wrinkle as you twist they are probably okay.
