I want to sell 5 Raleighs
Yes five Raleighs. I need to downsize and make more room in the garage. I want to sell them as a group of five, so that means no shipping - pick up only. Four of the bikes have AW hubs and one is a Sprite with an S5 hub.
Bike #1 is a 1980 24" black Tourist (DL1) in excellent condition. It has a front dyno hub, working lights, pump, full chaincase, and Brooks leather saddle.
Bike #2 is a 1970 tall green Belgian Raleigh Sports (step through) in very good condition with a locking fork, wheel dynamo, working lights, Belgian bike license plate, rear factory rack, pump, and Brooks leather saddle. It has a chain guard although the photo does not show it.
Bike #3 is a 1979 23" root beer Raleigh Sports in excellent condition with a Brooks leather saddle and a Pletscher rack (leather bag excluded).
Bike #4 is a 1970 green tall Raleigh Sprite (step through) in good condition with a five speed S5 hub, factory rack, non-original saddle, and non-original shifters (the original plastic S/A downtube shifters were broken).
Bike #5 is a 1972 19" silver Raleigh Sports Camelback in good mechanical condition with fair paint. It has a non-original saddle and I stole the chain guard for use on a frequent rider (I may be persuaded to include it).
I also have a 21" Sears/Steyr that could be included.

Now THAT is a nice collection of Raleighs! I hope the buyer appreciate what nice bikes these are (especially that Tourist with rod brakes and full chain case).
Good luck with your sale!

I have a Raleigh Professional that is next in line for clean-up and possibly a resto. It is the Blue/Mink Silver from the early 70s. Pls pm me if you are interested in knowing more.
