Got a Park tools digital scale a while back, finally got around to putting a hook up in my shop, so I could try it out. A few surprises, the Trek TX900, top of the line bike for Trek in 77 came in at 26lbs 7oz, while the definitely lower in the Raleigh lineup 78 Supercourse, weighed less, at 25lbs 9oz.
Also surprising the 71 Schwinn Sports Tourer came in at 28lbs 9oz, thought for sure it would be over 31lbs. The others were pretty much what I expected.

I used to weigh them for specifics. 2/3 of the time I guessed low, and 1/3 of the time I was pleasantly surprised. Now I weigh them for reference, as if to reassure myself they actually weigh how they feel.

Sometimes I built with a weight goal in mind, more often than not being “over,” but I no longer worry, or concern myself with it.

It now comes down to ranges.
My Italian steels range from 21 to maybe 24.
My non-Italian steels about 19 to 24 (Merckx, Bob Jackson, Fiorini, Ironman)
The “mixes” (steel with some part carbon, like stays or forks) about 20-22.
The Ti’s are a bit over 17, both, which is odd, but neat, since one is 1976 and one is 1996.
My modern steel Wraith similar to @iab’s is 16.5
My carbons range from a pair of sub-16’s (Cipollini and Colnago) to 18 (Cadex and Graftek).
My only aluminum (Klein) is 21 in normal kit, but I rack and bag it for alleged touring.

Some ride “lighter” (Bob Jackson, Merckx, Centurion Comp TA, Teledyne Titan, Cadex)
and some “heavier” (Colnago Super, Pinarello Catena Lusso).

A couple ride exactly as expected, Cinelli SC and Fiorini. Some are boring, most not.
It’s the build, the components, the wind, the way I feel that day, and just how much I like the bike.

A Gatorskin can add imagined weight. A Veloflex Master can reduce it. A multi tool seems to be a brick.
Don’t get me started on water.

This one weighs 22.62 lbs. as pictured. Most of my bikes are outfitted the same way and are in the same weight range. Must be the shoes.

My Bianchi Campione d'Italia (1981-2, 55cm C-T Columbus Tre Tubi frame, 700Cx28 Continental tires) weighs right around the proverbial 10 kg = 22 lb. The 1960 Capo Modell Campagnolo, with plain gauge Reynolds 531 frame and Brooks Pro saddle, is about 1 kg heavier, at 24 lb. The Peugeot UO-8 (aluminum rims and crankset) and the Schwinn mountain bike come in around 13 kg or just over 28 lb.

This Azuki Sports Tour from the boom, 3 tube chromoly, with the biggest dork dish I've ever seen comes in at 27lbs and 2 oz

The dork is bigger than cranks, I could probably get this in the 26lbs if I remove the the dish.

My Tallerico with Stan's 3.30ti wheels is about 18. (18.08). That's with a steel fork. If I went truly weight weenie, including 1100g wheels (too bad American Classic isn't around, they made that so easy), I think low 16's is possible but I'm pretty happy with the ride. I may get a Wound Up fork for it, but that's only a 75-100g saving. It'd be ride, not weight.

My Spectrum is 22, with the DA toeclips. Not sure what it weighs with the Looks I normally use.

My lightest road bike is this 1946 Rene Herse Competition at 20.0 lb. Most of my bikes weigh 21-22 lb with tubulars, or 22-23 lb with clinchers. These are all race bikes or light randonneur bikes.

I have an orange one of the Grand Sprint. I bought it bought it for $20 without wheels and plan to build it similar to yours. I am going to have it powder coated , it isn’t in as nice of shape as yours. The frame which I finished getting ready for sand blasting yesterday, feels real light. I have the Campy stuff for it already and found a nice Motobecane crankset . I have all the original parts that came with the frame. Good to know they are fairly light.

These are great bikes. I will never sell mine.

The weight I posted is with a newer set of Weinmann LP18 36H 700c wheels, which actually don't give up much weight-wise to more expensive similarly spec'd wheels, but are very good in terms of performance for their low price point. The weight is almost exactly the same with a vintage set of Ambrosio 19 rims laced to Ofmega hubs.

I have plans to eventually build a set of wheels around some 32H Campy Record hubs I just got here on the forums. That'll bring the weight down a bit more.

My 78 Masi Criterium special model (SL tubing) was 20-20.5 pounds with Ergal/Seta race wheels, depending on whether I was running any weight weenie stuff or not. Add about 12 oz for training sewups, so just over 21. With clinchers, about 22. (clinchers lasted about 3 or 4 months - hated them)

(EDIT - these weights include the pedals, because they are part of the bike)

I ride 25" frames and my touring builds generally weigh between 11 and 13 kg. Earlier this year I challenged myself to see if I could build a fendered bike for light touring with a steel frame weighing no more than 10 kg (~22 lbs) with whatever I had available.

I selected a Reynolds 531 frame set and spent a couple of days with the kitchen scales weighing the contents of my parts bin. It wasn't easy and it took more than a few tries to finally get the weight down far enough.

Using my bathroom scale guesstimates...

Ironman with Look pedals and bottle cages weighs around 25 lbs. Varies a bit depending on saddle, tubes and tires. It was lighter with the original Araya CTL-370 wheelset but, alas, the rear rim cracked this summer and the replacement wheel is heavier.

Early 1990s Trekenstein 5900 OCLV weighed 20 lbs with mish-mash of original and replacement components. I might be able to shed a pound with lighter wheels, DA or Ultegra RD vs the steel cage RDs, switching back to downtube shifters rather than brifters.

Mid-2000s Diamondback Podium ... never mind, not C&V. It weighs less than my fat tabby cat. But it's not any faster than my Ironman, or as comfy.

My '75 Fuji S-10S had a catalog weight 26.5-pounds (with a 23" frame) -- pretty damn light for a lower-mid-grade bike on clinchers back then. As ridden these days with a rack, bottle cage (no bottle carried on my commute), frame pump, handlebar bag containing tools and spare tube, and the triple crankset -- I weighed it at 30.2 pounds on the digital shipping scale at work. Yes, it is riding on a lighter wheelset, and tires that are probably a bit lighter than the old wire-bead 27x1-1/4s! No, I'm not gonna take off all of my commuter goods to weigh it bare just for a weight-weenie contest. I'd lose anyway.

The '84 Univega Viva Sport had a catalog weight of 25 pounds, but on its rebuild to my preferences, it is now 24.1 pounds, even with relatively heavy Pasela TGs (bare bike, no cage or other accessories)

My '86 Miyata 710 had a catalog weight of 23.5 pounds, but with a lighter wheelset and tires, it is now 22.4. again no accessories of any kind.

Those last two 'after' bike weights were with the bike hanging on a digital luggage scale...
