Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

get a headset 2 way radio like motor cyclists use

Thanks but I'd really rather just have a light. I wouldn't want to rely on her voice over wind, even with a speaker.

The thought keeps coming up so I'll just say it. How about a string, from her handlebar to your jersey. One tug, two tugs. A perfect, low tech solution.

shot down this morning. Found a 2019 al trek domane 56 cm on craigslist yesterday. I had seen it before and he has been slowly lowering the price. Finally got to around 650 so decided I would take a chance and offer him a trade. I have a bass guitar collection that I have been slowly selling off. Got turned down....
Worth a try.

60 degrees today got the okay to ride a little longer than usual so gunna go for 40 miles I think.

Sold the stack a long time ago, but still have a eden nemesis combo amp.

Offered the spector and the amp he didn’t bite.

That sounds like a nice group of instruments. Fretless Stingray sounds like a hoot to play.

I rarely play anymore but still have all of my basses and my rig. Every once in a while I get the though to sell them and free up some equity, but just can't bring myself to do it. I've got a pair of Ibanez SR506 6 strings, one of which is fretless with an epoxy fingerboard, my first bass - a 5 string Peavey Millenium, and the 1978 Gibson G-3 that my dad gave me when I graduated high school. Amp is a GK1001RB II through an Avatar 2x12 cabinet.

I absolutely don't need the bass rig living in a townhouse and not actively playing music with anyone, but it's one of those things where it's not hurting anything to keep it around, and if I ever find the opportunity to play music with other people it's a super capable and practical setup.
