86 Santana rehab

Pulled this one out of my attic and got it back on the road. Purchased in Febuary of 1987, American hand brazed goodness. I clear coated the tubing stickers, they were almost gone. All stock down to the chains, except I swapped out the rims from the old 27" to 700C, kept the original hubs, now I can use modern tires. Cinelli bars, Modolo double cable levers and NOS hoods, Suntour bar cons. Old school half step gearing and friction shifting, from an era when the captain needed to know how to drive

Brazed, you say? As in fillet brazed? Wow. Beautiful bike.

Yes, it was very nice fillet brazing on the Santana frames. I had a powder blue 1986 Santana Elan up until about one month ago.
