grrrrreat big gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts,

Mutilated monkey meat,

Itsy bitsy birdie feet,

French fried eye-balls,

Rolling down a muddy street,

And I forgot my spoon. (slurp, slurp).

I finally got to draft a vehicle slow enough for me to catch. It was an ice cream truck on it's route to the suburbs. So you can add to this list the carny mix of "Camptown Ladies" which is currently echoing in my brain for the rest of the do dah day and all the do dah night.

I was once a treehouse
I lived in a cake
Have I ever told you how
The orange slayed the rake?

Or:

It's worse than that,
He's dead, Jim, dead Jim, dead Jim
It's worse than that, he's dead Jim, dead Jim, dead!

We come in peace,
Shoot to kill, shoot to kill, shoot to kill
We come in peace, shoot to kill, Scotty beam me up!

It's life, Jim
But not as we know it, not as we know it, not as we know it
It's life Jim, but not as we know it, not as we know it, Captain.

There's Klingons on the starboard bow
Starboard bow, starboard bow
There's Klingons on the starboard bow, scrape 'em off Jim!

It's worse than that, it's physics Jim!

Why did I open this thread. You might remember it the 6 Flags commerical but I remember it as the Tecate Beer commercial:

We like to party
We drink Te - caaaaaaaaaaah - te
Tecate...the good time party beer.

Song sung blue
Weeping like a willow
Song sung blue
Sleeping on my pillow

I read an article on the earworm phenomenon and one of it's famous and most acutely afflicted sufferers... Neil Diamond. Good!

Circles
She's spinnin' me around in circles... again
Oh that skinny blonde girl
Somethin' about the ages
I failed college algebra, again
That skinny blonde girl
And the circles and the ages and the ages...

5 hours of karaoke with my classmates to celebrate the end of exams yesterday. Somehow, that five hours did not include a rendition of "Mouse Loves Rice", and for this I am truly grateful.

And I can't get it out of my head,
No, I can't get it out of my head.
Now my old world is gone for dead
cos I can't get it out of my head, no no.

My kids (5 & 7) have really bizarre taste in music & tend to plant horrible songs in my head. Their last assault was "The Macerena". They played it over and over for weeks until I found the CD & hid it. (Don't worry I'll give it back, eventually...)

In the Movie Finding Nemo, The part where Marvin (Dad) and Dory (blue girl fish) are swiming into the Dark deep part of the ocean and Dory is saying

"Just keep Swimming, Just keep Swimming, Just keep Swimming, Just keep Swimming, Just keep Swimming."

I get this in my head when Im riding and It stays with me all day.
The Joys of having a 2 yr old and watching the same movie 500 times!

I just made up these lyrics out pleasure-riding (at the mall!) over lunch. They are to the tune of "Let's Go Fly a Kite" from the Mary Poppins movie, if you are familiar with that:
Let's go ride a bike,
that's what I really like.
Let's go ride a bike,
our spirits soaring!

Out far away from here,
out where the air is clear.
Oh let's go, ride a bike!
I'm not going to attempt the verses; I can leave well enough alone!

One way, or another I'm gonna find you. I'm gonna gitcha gitcha gitcha gitcha. One way or another..

That stayed in my head until I caught up to a group ahead of me (and afterwards as well). I am thankful that it was at least applicable to the situation.
