Actually, bullhorns work with that bike. More so than drops or flat bars.

So this is my main squeeze. My daily. My pride & joy (even though there are definitely things I want to change/upgrade). And if everyone hates it...at least I have NO slack in my chain!

White wheel/rim/stem/saddle rails/(Pedals??). Black would be 100x better. White makes it look like a wal-mart red/yellow bike wannabe.
Spokes on rear rim aren't white? Or are badly painted...?(If you're going for that look...)
The bike looks to be a size too tall for you.

Logos are too big and in your face in general.

Man, I have a problem with logos don't I? I just like the clean look, that's all.

Love this thread, it's cathartic. Below is how this bike should be done. IMO

EDIT: Agreed with Squid above. Chains should never be under tension. I shoot for a half inch of movement up and down at max, and aim for a quarter inch of movement up and down for a half inch total. But my SS doesn't have horizontal, rear loading dropouts, so it's harder to adjust mine.

Interesting, everything is official from Bianchi. So any non-matching color is coming straight from the factory. Although I obviously added the decals myself on the front rim. But it was a sticker I got in an order from Bianchi's webstore!

Now that's something I totally agree about. I don't know why I ever went with half white on this build. I already have a black stem and Keo Classic pedals, and plan on building up a black rear wheel whenever I have some extra money. The rails on the saddle though? Nothing I can really do about that...just how that saddle came.

Nope! I don't like colored spokes. I'm a fan of plain silver spokes. (The front wheel was purchased already built off Craigslist, so no option there)

But yeah, I can't wait to get this bike looking the way I actually want to!

I mean, there's some slack. I can lift it with a finger. But it's not hanging low and looking droopy like a lot of builds I've seen posted in here. Plus, the less slack, the easier track stands are. Not as much rocking back and forth.

love the minivelos those both look like the bigshot polo. I was doing the bull horns for a while but in NYC I prefer the narrow flats for buzzing through traffic.

I've never liked the way a round seat post and an oval seat tube looked together. Of course the seat posts that have an oval top with a round lower section look even worse.

Yellow bike:
Blasphemy.

I love when people post a pic in this thread, then immediately get defensive when people say what they don't like.

I wouldn't really call it being defensive. More like a love for explaining my way of thinking. Didn't know rebuttals weren't permitted in this thread.

That's why I don't post my bikes in this thread. I think they are perfect and don't really care what the rest of you think.

+1

I've posted a couple of mine here before just for ****s & giggles (because I know there's nothing to complain about) but I couldn't care less about what anyone thinks either.

I honestly knew you'd say that as I was typing my comment out.

Sure, it's a general blanket statement for the entire thread, but you did use the term "immediately" in your comment. And my rebuttal was, quite literally, the next comment after the nit-picks of my bike.
