Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Yeah, all Cinelli clothing runs pretty small because it's made in Italy where people aren't fat Americans.

Bout to buy some knee sleeves to go with them. Turns out when you squat with **** form and try to do whip skids on race tires your knees aren't too stoked about it.

That being said, Deadlifts are the best thing ever for biking. Posterior Chain Gainz.

MKS Sylvan track pedals, Wellgo swan style double toe clips, and leather double straps.

Next will be a bar and stem.

A good cycling movie, a classic. I just ordered The Flying Scotsman to add to my bicycling movies collection. We have long cold winters here in the Midwest and watching my cycling movies is part of my winter survival plan.

Even in the cold I generally can still get on the road for some sort of ride (even a short one) once very week or two. I wrench on a project bike a little, and spin on a trainer some as well too. But every winter when the cold has me pinned down and missing the bicycle... I watch my bicycle movies.

Finally got the tires I planned for the build, and could toss the freebie 23's that came with the wheelset. Now road debris and small dogs don't get wedged in the fender gap.

Some old guy came into the shop with a load of vintage wool jerseys and jackets. He wanted 10 dollars a jersey and 15 a jacket. Scored 6 jerseys and 3 jackets for my 80 dollar offer.

Thomson Elite Seatpost
Dura Ace 7700 Brake Set
Both for nice and cheap and in great condition considering they were used (almost no marks on the post and the brakes needed some minor cleaning in some less visible areas)
a Mellow Johnny's Stemcap

and I am highly considering getting a Brooks Cambium C17 for the holidays, since I have some gift money for bike parts and I could use a more comfy saddle on my tourer. Though QBP doesn't stock the carved version so I might hold off till they do.

Do it! I've been using a C17 Carved for over three months now and it is the most comfortable saddle I've ever used. Looks good, too.
