Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I <3 pbk
I ordered some gloves, chamois creme, a chain, and some tubes. I wonder if they'll be here by Friday?

Either way, no tax + no shipping fees = epic win.

Anything shipped 18th-21st got put on a boat by Royal Mail. My Garmin 500 is on that boat, so I'm not holding my breath.

Bike Stop has them as well for less, but you pay a little shipping. They are blazing fast when it comes to expediting. Ordered stuff that was not in their warehouse on Sunday, picked them up Tuesday (today). Not that PBK ain't the shizzle, but you can keep your money here in the states by ordering closer to home. I guess it is a parallel to the BD/LBS argument.

Nashbar could take a lesson from PBK. The last time I placed an order with Nashbar (and I do mean the last time), it took them 3 weeks to ship an order of 3 in-stock items from Ohio to Pennsylvania. PBK was able to get a set of wheels to me in a week.

I just made my first order with them over the weekend. Too good a deal on Conti GP4000s to pass up. A pair with tubes, delivered to the door for $84. I don't need them right away, but for that price I had to get a pair. It will be interesting to see how long they take to deliver.

Yep. I've had blazing fast service for a Conti GP4000S. It was cheaper than anywhere I could get in NZ, shipping was free and it took about four days to get from UK to the bottom of the world. Mind you, I've found that most shipping from UK is very quick. I've had some car parts sent from UK to NZ in three days. I can't get that speed of shipping between places in NZ.

I ordered some pedals on the 19th, looks like i won't get them for awhile if they were shipped via boat. 105 5610 pedals for $60 shipped, couldn't pass that up.

check with your post office. if canadian postal system is anywhere like what we have here, your stuff might be just sitting in a postal facility, waiting to be delivered. last month, i had two packages sent to me from England: one a pair of boots and another, a package from PBK. The boots arrived in a week, but the postal service didn't notify me until 2-3 weeks after. The blue PBK bag was apparently ripped apart, and it took almost three weeks to arrive. Thank goodness none of the six tubes that i ordered were lost...
