FS: Shimano 8/9/10 and Campy 9/10/11 Wheels
For sale, various wheels for both Shimano and Campagnolo drive-trains. I have not used any of these wheels - the two Shimano sets came with bikes I bought on ebay. The Campagnolo one I bought as a backup but haven't needed. and now that I've decided to rebuild my Montello with 8 speed, I won't need it.
First up, Dura Ace hubs with Mavic Reflex rims. The bike was from a 96' Colnago and the drivetrain 9-speed Dura-Ace. Cassette lock-ring is marked CS-7700. The front rim is a standard SUP, the rear is Ceramic. These spin nice and smooth and true, although I'll guess they haven't been greased since 1996. The rims both look new, with no marks on the coating. These should work with Shimano 8-10 speed. The tires are 700x23, in good shape (pretty much new) but probably fairly old, if not from 96. Dura-Ace with Mavic Reflex was about as good as it got in 96 and these are still great wheels. $175 OBO
Second, a pair of Xero Shawla wheels. They came with a 4-5 year old Fuji with 10-speed Tiagra, so again, 8-10 speed Shimano drivetrain. They are in good shape with some marking on the sidewalls, more on the rear than the front. The tries are mismatched but look to have good life left on them. These aren't light, but they seem robust. $75 OBO
Last, a Campagnolo Mirage hub with Mavic CXP-23 rim. In good shape, spinning smoothly, but with sidewall marking (no serious grooves or wear) and in need of a polishing. The tire is worn and not fit for road use, although I'd use it on a trainer if it came to that. Should be usable on Campagnolo 9-11 speed. No skewer. $59 OBO
Pick-up in NYC area, or maybe meet-up somewhere in the northeast corridor, or shipping on your dime (probably well more than a dime)
