WTB - Mixte frame or entire bicycle, but would prefer frame and fork only.
I could easily find a hybrid, or ladies' bicycle locally, but I'm looking for the style of frame with stay-sized tubing that runs all the way from the head tube, around the seat tube and all the way to the rear dropouts.
Seat tube between 19" and 23". (This is going to live on the trainer)
Sound frame and fork, cosmetic conditions are unimportant. In fact, I'd prefer to not be entrusted with something in pristine, original condition.
Willing to pay for it and shipping from Continental US or Canada.

USAZ,
Have you talked to jdawg about the one he has to offer? I can look here but not a lot of items here in my co-op that fit that description. I will be looking for you. Smiles, MH

We've spoken. What he has is a hybrid, not a mixte.

jdawginsc I have a Raleigh Super Record, early '80s(?), I know it needs a few things (chain); I'd rather send it complete, just because I don't know what else I'd do with the components. But we could agree on what you want me to include/exclude. Only pics I have for now:
I'll also need some coaching on packaging/shipment.

FYI, these can be re-worked to fit the troublesome top of down tube shifter mounts on mid-eighties bikes.

ISO a Tange FL-500 headset top nut to replace the one that the finish came off of after soaking in degreaser.
They are marked around the top flat with "Japan Tange Falcon Alloy FL500".
The one I have is still usable and currently on the bike but it would be nice to have a better condition one if anybody has one in their spares box

Any rando bars collecting dust? What have you got and what do you need? I have a few standard drop bars of various brands and widths or other bits if bars isn't what y'all need. Thought I'd check before I buy one of the VO closeouts.

Q/R skewers
Looking for 100/130 skewers for an early 80s mountain bike. Shimano, Suntour - something like that. Clean and functional please.
(I realize I could use almost anything but I seem to have an abundance of wheels and a dearth of skewers.)
love ya, mean it…

Andy, I likely have a set of fairly narrow ones (e.g., 38cm)--though I won't be home until the weekend to check if you're in a hurry.

Huret FD - 2 Available
501c eBay auction, ends today at 12:55PM EDT. Price with shipping for each is currently <$14 US (plus applicable taxes) if shipped to a US address. Don't know if they ship internationally or not.
Currently no bids on either. Seller does not accept offers but typically relists items that don't sell, often after reducing the minimum starting bid.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/255647520179
Sorry for the late notice - was poking around on the Internet today and just ran across these. Perhaps someone here needs one.
I've done business with the vendor; I do not have any commercial interest in the vendor.
Edited to add: source also has two Suntour LePree available for <$24 US (plus applicable taxes), shipped to US address, with no current bids. Second is long cage. I believe someone here was looking for one within the last few months. These listings also end at 12:55 PM EDT today.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/255647519993
FWIW: this vendor often lists a wide variety of vintage parts they've pulled from donated bikes at auction. Might be worth an occasional look if you're having trouble finding something specific.

I will take a look in my heap. Like Neal, I might have a few 38s but I seem to remember a 40 or 41 in there somewhere.
Shiny new, or rider quality?

Regarding widths I'm beginning to wonder if a rando bar for my wife's Moto would helps prevent her left hand from getting a bit numb. Narrow for her is the right size. LMK, and thanks.

Many thanks. I seem to have a lead on the same bars in 42, which comes closer to my size.

It has a sprung inner cage "nose" which aids upshifts noticeably.
There were several variations with this feature, the best of which has an aluminium body and arms and a cutout steel clamp.

Huret made many variations of this basic design, almost all cosmetic, with one major exception shown in the second example.
