Redeye Brewing Co. (Wausau, WI) - Bike Museum Brewpub!??!
If you ever find yourself in Northern Wisconsin, it's absolutely worth visiting the Redeye Brewing Company in Wausau, WI. Not only is the food and beer top-notch, but the ceiling of the restaurant is littered with a collection of 80s and 90s vintage bicycles... most of them top-end steel road bikes. Since I got my start in road riding in the 80s, I was pretty much drooling over all the bikes. According to our waitress, the bikes were donated by a local bike racer. If any of you know more details, please let me know! The owner of the restaurant wasn't there when we visited so I wasn't able to get more info.
I was a little disappointed in that on their web site, there's a mint condition Bianchi hanging from the ceiling that was missing when I got there. For some odd reason, I have a Bianchi fetish
