Rotor compatibility
So I believe my Tektro TR160-24 rotors are reaching the end of their lives. They are 160mm in diameter. I'm having a hard time finding them for replacement and then I thought why not try another brand. My question is "are other rotor brands (160mm) compatible with my tektro brakes?" (They use organic brake pads if you are wondering)

generally, the same size rotor should work as a replacement. just avoid rotors with pronounced "wavy" outlines as those might cause problems.

Almost any same diameter and same fastening system (6-bolt or Centerlock) rotor will work. Those marked "resin pads only" will be cheaper and less durable. I'm currently using 160 mm Shimano Ultegra R8000 rotors with my TRP (Tektro's upper tier components) Spyre mechanical calipers and they are performing very well.

Rotor diameter and fastening system are important but also important is rotor thickness. Luckily Shimano will work just fine (Magura is a bit thicker and I there are some DH specific rotors as well from some manufacturers). That means you can use the IceTech rotors which work quite nicely. I would also replace the pads as well so you have the best possible braking and if you are using mechanical brakes get new cables and housing of high quality so you can have a really optimized system without a whole lot of investment.
