The trail condition are getting very tough as the warmer temps start to become a little more regular, and the snow and ice turn to slush. I still have the studded tires on but the deep slush sections toss the front wheel one way and the rear wheel the other way fighting for traction. Two hours out here makes for a great workout as you fight to keep moving forward. Just having fun out in the woods, living the dream.

We are maybe a week ahead of you in terms of the melting. What little snow we got is well gone, the trails have started to dry out, the last 3 days with temps in the 50’s really helped.
I rode the trails today in Bethpage, NY and even after a bit of rain last night, it was remarkably dry and not muddy.
Of of course it’s March, we could get a foot of white crap next week.

Your dead on about still getting hit with snow, that's why in New England you have to expect the unexpeted.
