Me too. The frame looks like design for design's sake. That said, it is a very cool frame.

That's it. It starts as a blank bb shell with chainstay ports and the seat/downtube sockets are brazed on separately, then the bb assembly is brazed into the frame like a regular lugged shell.
its a lot of extra work, and nobody does it better than Demon.

Ok, now I see and yes lots more work, but the result is unique. It's like having my two favorite frame building techniques combined.
